DESCRIPTION:DRONE MASTER TECHNICIAN CLASS FOR BEGINNERS IN VANCOUVER\, BC\, CANADA \nDescription:\nThis course is designed for beginners and basic technicians. This Course covers Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) instrument\, electrical\, mechanical and avionics systems maintenance. A 3 days course covers 24 hours of training and instruction (from Day 1 to Day 3)\, A 5 days course covers 40 hours of instructions from (Day 1 to Day 5) This course also covers drone testing in the 5 days course following assembly and modification\, and maintenance\, repairs and overhaul (MRO). \nObjectives: After completing the course attendees will be able to troubleshoot\, diagnose and Maintain instrument\, electrical\, mechanical and avionics systems of a RPAS. \nTopics: \nDay- 1:\n1. RPAS Mechanics:\n– Repair and overhaul\, installation\, calibration and testing aircraft instruments. \nDay – 2:\n2. RPAS Electrical Systems:\n– Repair and overhaul\, modification\, installation and testing aircraft electrical systems and equipment. \nDay – 3:\n3. Unlike more straightforward roles such as drone piloting\, the development and operation of aerial robots involves understanding complex systems across multiple disciplines\, including robotics concepts\, mechanical design\, control systems\, programming\, and AI.\n\nThese roles are typically suited for individuals with a strong foundation in STEM\, and the learning curve can be steep. Depending on Participants interests and backgrounds\, there may be entry points into related areas like basic robotics kits\, coding workshops\, or introductory engineering programs that can serve as a first step.\n\nI’d be happy to discuss this further or suggest potential learning pathways. It would also help to know more about what Participants are most drawn to—are they interested in hands-on tech work\, creative problem-solving\, or something else? That way\, we can better identify opportunities that match both their interests and development potential.
