DESCRIPTION:Drone Assembly Technician – Electronic Systems Training \nThis is a 10 days instructor-led\, in-person\, hands-on course especially designed for beginners and basic technicians. In this course you will learn detail-oriented Drone and Electronics assembly. You will learn assembling drone production units\, wiring\, soldering\, and supporting systems integration. \nObjectives:\nLearn to design\, assemble and operate VTOL and fixed-wing drones and UAV prototypes. Drone parts and board-level PCB testing and debugging. Assembling units and support production delivery. Learn internal wiring\, connectors\, and soldering tasks (cables\, plugs\, sockets\, etc.) System testing and structural modifications. \nDetailed Outline:\nWeek 1: Fixed-Wing Drone Design and Assembly\nDay – 1\nIntroduction to drone design fundamentals: aerodynamics\, weight distribution\, and power systems.\nIntroduction to CAD software (e.g.\, SW Maker) for designing a fixed-wing airframe.\nDay – 2\nAdvanced CAD design and refining the airframe structure.\nIntroduction to the Cube Orange flight controller and its features (with ADS-B).\nDay – 3\nAssembly of the fixed-wing airframe\, including motor\, servo installation\, and control surface setup.\nDay – 4\nIntegration of electronics: Cube Orange\, GPS\, telemetry systems\, and Foxtech Map-A7R Pro camera.\nSensor calibration (GPS\, airspeed\, barometer\, and IMU).\nDay – 5\nProgramming the Cube Orange with ArduPlane for fixed-wing functionality.\nInitial flight testing and troubleshooting. \nWeek 2: VTOL Drone Assembly and Advanced Testing\nDay – 6\nIntroduction to VTOL drone design principles and the differences from fixed-wing.\nAssembly of the VTOL airframe: motor installation and servo setup for VTOL transitions.\nDay – 7\nIntegration of Cube Orange\, GPS\, telemetry systems\, and Foxtech Map-A7R Pro camera for VTOL.\nCalibration of servos and VTOL-specific control surfaces.\nDay – 8\nProgramming the Cube Orange with ArduPlane for VTOL functionality.\nSensor calibration and preliminary testing.\nDay – 9\nAdvanced flight testing for both drones (fixed-wing and VTOL).\nMission planning: autonomous waypoint navigation and camera integration.\nDay – 10\nFinal testing and participant-led demonstrations.

DESCRIPTION:Description:\nThis course is designed for beginners and basic technicians. Course covers Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) instrument\, electrical and avionics mechanics\, installation\, repair and overhaul aircraft instrument\, electrical or avionics systems maintenance. This course also includes avionics testing and inspection\, electrical and avionics systems following assembly\, modification\, Maintenance\, Repair and Overhaul (MRO). \nTopics:\nDay- 1:\n1. RPAS Mechanics:\n– Repair and overhaul\, installation\, calibration and testing aircraft instruments. \nDay – 2:\n2. RPAS Electrical System:\n– Repair and overhaul\, modification\, installation and testing aircraft electrical systems and equipment. \nDay – 3:\n3. RPAS Repair:\n– Troubleshooting\, repairing and overhaul\, testing\, modification\, installation and inspecting aircraft electronic systems and components including communications\, navigational\, and auto-flight equipment. \nDay – 4:\n4. RPAS Inspection and testing:\n– Inspection and testing of aircraft instrument\, electrical and avionics systems and ensure that the installation\, maintenance\, repair and overhaul of these systems meet performance and safety standards. \nDay – 5:\n5. Drone Motherboard and Circuit Boards Repair:\nSoldering\, troubleshooting\, diagnostics and repair or replacement of drone Motherboards. \nWho should attend:\nField Service Technicians\, Engineers\, Drone Technicians from Law Enforcement\, Police\, Department of Defense and Air Force\, Business Owners\, start ups and beginners. \nGeneral information:\nLength: 5 days\, 9am to 5pm class\, 8 hours per day\, total 40 hours. \nGroup Discount; A group discount is offered on 3 attendees from the same company. A Special discount is offered for a group of 10 people. \nEquipment usage: Oscilloscope\, digital multi meters\, Volt meter\, bench Power supply\, soldering equipment\, hand tools etc.\,all equipment provided in the class. \nPractice drones: 2 drones\, (one UAV and one DJI Enterprise) provided for hands-on exercises and demos.
